Meadowbank Park is a large riverside park with playing fields, exercise equipment and a small dog beach by the water. Dogs are off-leash when the fields are not in use for organised sport, and on-leash otherwise. There is parking, a playground, BBQ facilities and drinking water, making it good for a run or a weekend visit. A spacious, well-equipped park with river access for a dip.
Designated off-leash area — dogs may be off-leash when the area is not in use for organised sport (see on-site signage for boundaries). Dogs must be under the control of a competent person, return to handler on command, and be on-leash when entering and leaving the off-leash area. Maximum 4 dogs per person. Dogs must be kept 10 metres from bushland areas and children's playgrounds. (Source: City of Ryde — Dog Off-Leash Areas, ryde.nsw.gov.au.)
Really nice park, lots of playing fields, play ground, exercise equipment, dog beach. Great for a run or a weekend BBQ. New Year's fireworks here are awesome, not too crowded and a chill evening to enjoy with friends or family. Worth the visit.
One of the best around! You've got pretty much everything for everyone.. We play cricket here pretty much every weekend..There is soccer, softball, basketball, tennis, footy going on at the same time as there is a space for everyone! And kids have their parks and Water parks..The joggers and the cyclists got their tracks and trails. The toilet facilities are great and water fountains when you need one. Can't ask for more!! Absolutely fantastic park!
Haven't seen a bigger playground/park together in one place.. Love it. More than 10 full size football grounds, kids play area, walking/running track.
My little mischief plays soccer here most weekends - so many fields, with the canteen, splash park, playground and all the rest. Great place to be on a sunny day👍🙂
This park is a well kept, serene, close to nature, clean, equipment for friendly, easy to maneuver with changing rooms, restrooms, table tennis, badminton Court, jogging track, wet and dry play area for kids aged 1 yrs to 8yrs. We had good time here. Reaching this place via train was convenient too .. just 400 to 500 mts from station. Nearby there are pizza seller , Thai restaurants, coffee shops.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
