I used to enjoy the mochi here, but unfortunately the quality has gone downhill while prices have gone up. The strawberry daifuku I bought today was very disappointing — the mochi skin and filling were completely separated. A proper daifuku should be well combined, not falling apart like this. For the price they are charging now, this quality is unacceptable. Sadly, I won’t be repurchasing unless there’s a clear improvement.

Amazing bingsu here! It was a surprise to see it on the menu so we decided to give it a shot. We got the mango one and it’s so nice and refreshing. The shaved ice is very creamy and goes nicely with the mangoes. It’s surprisingly really big so suggest downsizing if you’re dessert game is standard. The wait wasn’t long and heaps of seats inside.

Visited Siroo Rice Cake Café in Eastwood, and it was such a lovely experience. The Korean rice cakes (tteok) were soft, chewy, and lightly sweet — clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The coffee paired perfectly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. It’s a unique spot where you can enjoy traditional Korean desserts in a modern café setting. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy something authentic and different.

Omg yum! What a delight to have a rice cake dedicated cafe!!! Love glutinous rice, the texture of these desserts in general so trying Korean versions of glutinous rice deserts are such a treat! If you love the texture above taste then can’t go wrong with any of the desserts, some are mild and sweet/salty mix, nothing overly sweet. Almost like a healthy snack if anything. Love their opening hours, great flexibility for us to go in and dine both early or late but hope the staff aren’t hustling too hard! Great array of yummy options! 4 stars because it takes a lot to wow me, this I was pleasant surprised :-)

This place has some of the best Korean rice cakes in Sydney! They’re well-priced, taste authentic, and honestly even better than the ones I’ve had in Korea. My favourite is the injeolmi — it’s soft and chewy on the inside, and the soybean powder has a lovely nutty flavour without being too sweet. I also tried the pumpkin one, which was really nice as well. Highly recommend!
