Girraween Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Eastwood where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find drinking water nearby, while Provence Garden Cafe Eastwood is around 600 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee.
Dog rules
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. City of Ryde's Dog Off-Leash Areas page states these are the only areas where dogs may run free without a lead. Cute little park. No toilets, BBQ facilities or cafes next door, but good fun for kids. There is a drinking water fountain. My 6 year old and 2 year old seemed entertained by the equipment for easily an hour. Nice find.

A lovely small park with new play equipment. Not suitable for ball games as the park slopes with many trees/shrubs.
