Holyoyd Gardens Merrylands lies on what was originally the old brick works site which still has some of the old brick works left to explore. The whole area has walking tracks, bbq's,picnic areas, playgrounds, bike safety track, open fields and lots of history.Ample carpark that in summer shuts the gates at sunset.Bins and drinking fountains are all around A short walk from Merrylands train station.

Great place to take the kids. Has two separate playgrounds, BBQ facilities, huge grass fields, duck pond and a well preserved historic brickworks site. Parking is plenty and park is very clean and well maintained. Gets busy on sunny weekends. They have recently opened a little food-truck style take away place with lunch options and ice cream etc which is quite convenient.

Beautiful and peaceful place, just the park to relax. There was so much history here, as there was a brick kiln just near the park. Huge playground, and there is a childcare centre at the top of the hill, too. Lots of places, to walk, picnic, play, relax, and is very quiet as it is a huge park. There are trail walks, a lake, and a sort of garden-pagoda, but it was locked. Beautiful place, and only 4 minutes from Central Gardens Merrylands, which is a waste of time, but anyway, amazing place and definitely recommend.

I love walking through this park on the weekend. It's a melting pot of noisy cultural parties 🥳, playgrounds, and push bikes. Kids running everywhere, while teens play soccer, and adults enjoy bbqs. The odd nature seeker tries to find a quieter spot to soak up the sunshine and fresh air. Amenities could do with an update but are cleaner than many I've seen. It's a great place to unwind and forget for a moment that you are in the city.
