Kurung Reserve Fenced Dog Park is a compact fenced off-leash area that gives local dogs a secure place to run. Double-gated entries help with safer arrivals and exits, and there is a bubbler for thirsty dogs. It is not a large destination park, but it is a handy, practical option for a quick off-leash session.
Designated off-leash dog park (fully fenced). Dogs may be exercised off-leash within the fenced area. Owners must maintain effective control of their dog at all times, including by voice commands, even when off-leash. Dogs must be on-leash when entering and leaving the park. Owners must pick up after their dog and place waste in the bins provided — fines apply for non-compliance. Dangerous, menacing and restricted breed dogs are not permitted. Needs work . Bit run down . Middle area grass has died and it's just dirt . Grass needs mowing . Council needs to up it's game and give it more care . It's the only dog park around Merrylands .
A nice little off-leash dog park and a much needed one in this suburb. There are not many dog parks around here. Its small but enough for small and big dogs alike. There is a bubbler if your pooch gets thirsty. There are 2 double-door entrances and are quite well made. There are 2 garbage bins with toilet bag holders. 2-3 benches to sit and around 10 blocks of rock cut in cuboid shape for people to sit. Parking is free on the streets and there is plenty. This is a closed dead-end street with no through road. So not much of traffic. You can either get here by road or by walk/cycle via the M4 Cycling track.
👍 Though I don’t have a 🐕 the 🐕 park is okay adjoining Kurung Reserve is a bit ordinary has a weathered worn Park sign just grass no seats no playground etc needs a bit of an upgrade considering Council did the 🐕 park they should’ve done more with the rest of the reserve 🤔 Update August 2025 starting to become rundown already 🤔
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
