Lithgow Dog Park is a fenced off-leash area set against a backdrop of surrounding mountains. The space includes grass, trees, and a mix of planting that gives dogs plenty to explore and sniff.
It has a relaxed, country feel and sits centrally within Lithgow, making it an easy, low-key option for local visits.

Stoked to stumble across this beautiful large fenced dog park surrounded by the mountains. Plenty of shady spots and seating, and the grass is well maintained. It’s clearly popular with locals... lots of well-behaved big and small dogs around. Some were tearing around playing fetch while others were just chilling under the trees enjoying the shade. A really lovely spot to bring your dog.
Not only dog friendly but the people were very welcoming and friendly. Just like a small close knit community.
A great big dog park with waste facilities for dogs. Would be good if there were more shaded areas and tables.
This is a beautiful park for the doggos, it used to be people’s gardens, so has mature trees and places to be led by the nose. But it’s for the doggos, no human loos. Google “toilets near me” for your own needs.
Great park, good fencing with guidelines posted. Lots of places to sit, and facilities for your dogs to have a drink too!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
