Bill Mitchell Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Tennyson Point where dogs are welcome on lead. And if you're up for a coffee, Cafe Elation is around 650 metres away.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. City of Ryde's Dog Off-Leash Areas page states these are the only areas where dogs may run free without a lead. This venue is not on the council's off-leash list; off-leash use is not authorised here. (Source: City of Ryde — Dog Off-Leash Areas, ryde.nsw.gov.au.)
Lovely little park with nice water views and a cute little walking path through the bush nearby. Generally is kept quite clean too. Really wish it was off-leash friendly for dogs!
Indigenous Wallumedegal cultural heritage trail " The Wulaba Track" leads around with many storyboards. Come here to see amazing indigenous rock art carved into sandstone.
Really bad. Bindis, steep stairs to access park, no paths - not the place for picnics or playing games without proper joggers. It has really nice views but my suggestion is to go to Morrison Bay park, which is super close and you'll get a better view but with nice grass that is well maintained with a good walking path.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
