Not bad! The avocado (and poached egg) toast was delicious. Served by a cheery girl wearing a Santa hat.

Poppy Lane is hands-down our favourite local café. The service is always warm and welcoming, the coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is outstanding. The fruit and yoghurt with homemade granola and warm rhubarb is absolutely delicious, my go-to for breakfast, while my husband swears by their chicken or beef burger, a must-try! They do the classics perfectly but also offer some of the most creative and tasty dishes in the area. A real gem we’re lucky to have nearby.

This place absolutely nails everything and is our new local(ish). Great coffee from Mecca, including rotating single origins and a batch brew. But the food is even better. You can really see the care that goes into every detail and the quality of produce and ingredients. The specials board always has some cracker options. Don't skip the tomato toast 👌🏼.

Calm and welcoming atmosphere, with top-notch coffee from Mecca (spectacular brew!). Food quality is high, but limited brekkie options and portion sizes didn't quite match the prices. Kids' options could use some more flexibility (no scrambled eggs?). Staff are warm and hospitable. Worth a try for coffee lovers!

Great food and lovely friendly staff. A little more expensive than a corner cafe but far better food and coffees. Everyone was so friendly, not noisy, just comfortable and easy to chat ans chill.
