Quite possibly the best coffee in the world — and yes, I’m willing to defend that statement. Every cup is perfectly brewed, rich, smooth, and exactly what you didn’t know you needed that day. The location? Unreal. Sitting by the water with that view almost makes you forget about your phone (almost). It’s the kind of place where time slows down and one coffee somehow turns into three. But what truly makes this place special is the people. The staff and owners are not just friendly — they’re the kind of genuinely lovely humans who make you feel like you’ve been coming here for years, even if it’s your first visit. Warm smiles, great energy, and service that feels effortless. And the food? Incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. Every dish arrives looking like it belongs on Instagram, but tastes even better than it looks — which is saying something. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you simply can’t go wrong. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the world. A place that feels like a little slice of happiness by the water — and one I’ll happily keep coming back to (mainly for the coffee… but also everything else!).

I visited Déjà vu as part of a group of around 12 people. The waitstaff were friendly and welcoming, and promptly took our orders. The food was great! I had a toasted sandwich, others had chicken, spaghetti and prawn, lasagna. Everyone very much enjoyed their meals. The coffee was delicious too. We’ll be back 😊👍🏻 A question- I had a multigrain sourdough sandwich. The bread was extremely good and I’d like to buy some myself. Can you please tell me what brand it was, thanks

Toronto 🇦🇺 | Café Déjà Vu — a casual café with friendly service Café Déjà Vu is a café I’ve visited more than once, with a relaxed setting and genuinely friendly staff. The food overall is fairly straightforward — nothing too surprising, but suitable for a casual meal or coffee break. On my first visit, I ordered a mocha. The flavour was decent, and I appreciated that it came with latte art, which left a positive first impression. However, during my second visit for breakfast, the coffee experience wasn’t quite the same. There was no latte art this time, and the milk foam felt unstable and slightly overheated, which was a little disappointing in comparison. That said, the staff remained polite and welcoming throughout, and the café still works as an easy, no-pressure spot to sit down and eat. |||||| For this time |||||| • Sourdough toast with Jam & Peanut Butter (2 slices) $7.99 🍞𖤐𖤐𖤐 • Mocha $6.5 ☕𖤐𖤐𖤐 • Iced latte $7.9 🧊𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐 • Green Goddess $10.9 🥗𖤐𖤐𖤐 • Ham & Cheese Crepe & Salad $16.99 🥞𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐 💰 TOTAL SPENT: around $25–30 👤🇦🇺

First time visit to Café Deja Vu at Toronto. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere with a French theme décor and great views of Lake Macquarie. My wife had a chicken and mushroom risotto and I had a seafood risotto. They were excellent choices. Quite an enjoyable lunch

Young waitress was lovely, with pearl earrings, low hair bun. Greeted with a beautiful smile. Meals were surprisingly tasty & refreshing. Chips seasoned really well! There was a slight issue & it was rectified perfectly. It was a really nice catch up with our friends sharing a great meal & atmosphere together.
