Vita is a cafe in Wangi Wangi with outdoor seating. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
I decided to take myself & my Bichon for a trip around Lake Macquarie as I’m currently in Toronto, so thought it about time I ventured out. First stop Wangi Wangi & as much as the reviews for the Wangi Wangi bake house were better Vita took my attention. First & foremost their sun-filled courtyard took my attention for it was busy & also looked quirky. I ordered a really hot latte & Portuguese tart. If you haven’t had a Portuguese tart before this would have to be the best place to try & that a tall order coming from the Inner West of sydney where they are plentiful. A delicious light custard with fine layers of puff/flaky pastry. Truly divine! And the coffee didn’t disappoint either.
Delicious homemade sausage rolls, definitely worth the higher price. Must get the Portuguese tart!!! So delicious, would definitely come back.
BEST SAUSAGE ROLL EVER. PLEASE GO HERE EVERYONE. Also the people who own and run this place are so nice and up for a chat. Love it. Thank you!
Family run, friendly, clean and welcoming. Good tea and coffee, sweet and savoury treats available but you MUST try the authentic Portuguese Tarts! Mmmm.
Coffee is good! Portuguese tarts yummmm, lamb and rosemary Sausage roll good too! Got a chocolate frappe that was super bland, just tasted like milky ice. $3 for a babychino is steep for 1/2 cup of milk foam. Good location and a few spots to sit outside and in. Cash only.
