Popped into Twelve Mile Creek Rest Area (At Raymond Terrace, about 10km from Karuah) to stretch the legs on the way up north. We knew the Driver Reviver would be closed as it wasn't a holiday weekend but we were very surprised to see Carnralla Café on Tour there! The mobile café had a good selection of pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches and lamingtons! The young lady serving us suggested the sausage rolls and just said..."trust me, they're homemade and you'll love them!". She was not wrong as they were melt in the mouth delicious and the filo pastry cooked spot on! The coffee was nice as was the sticky chai tea, both piping hot. There was also a full selection of non-dairy milk for the lactose intolerant among us. Carnralla was a great find to start our weekend and fuel us up, rested, to continue the drive north.
Very convenient. Coffee was good. Not amazing but good. No food left at 12:30. It is the festive season though so it was busy.
We realised after one bite that the “mushroom” pie had meat in it. The waitress confirmed it afterwards. We still dont know which meat.
Amazing customer service, on point coffee and the bacon and egg roll was to die for. Will definitely be stopping here more frequently. Thanks
