Belmont Lions Park is not a designated off-leash area, so dogs must be on-leash and under effective control. Under the Companion Animals Act 1998 dogs must stay at least 10 metres from the playground equipment and from any food preparation or consumption area. Owners must pick up and dispose of dog waste. Nice gated play area for kids with an amazing view of Belmont Bay. There is parking, a few seats with views of the bay, netted swim area, change rooms and wharf/jetty nearby.

Great little gated playground in Belmont. It’s just a shame there is no shade to sit, or shade sails above the platonic as the slides get too hot to go down from about 11am onwards, on a sunny day.
