A great night celebrating my wife birthday with friends out on the deck with a sensational sunset. Thanks to the team for helping serve a tasty birthday platter, a great night.

My wife and I shared the seafood platter for lunch today. All quality seafood, cooked and presented perfectly. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately wouldn't recommend eating here. We booked a table at 12:30 and didn't receive our food until 2:41pm. I've never waited so long for food at any restaurant before. We ordered the seafood platter for $220 and the oyster kilpatrick, lobster mornay and scallops were all overcooked. The scallops also had too much butter/oil and were rubbery. Very disappointing and will not be returning, which is unfortunate given the lovely location.

Never had a poor service and no apologies what so ever for making us wait for 2hrs from booking to getting any food on the table. Unsure how the kitchen here operates. Kids are 'hangry' and was told if we ordered cheese or garlic bread it'll take just as long as the kitchen are doing the best they can ..great joke! Only great thing was the view 👍

The coffee was just okay for me, not amazing. Honestly, I gave 4 stars only because of the location at Lake Macquarie. I hope in my next visit the coffee quality will be improved.
