Sports Hotel

Came in to collect a TAB ticket, I have a full grown beard in mid 30s and this guy asked me for ID including my Wife and Sister, I told him that my wife and sister don’t need IDs as they came with me, they were not gambling. He told them to wait outside angrily I left with my cash, the guy serving us looked about 15 years old himself and was being smart with me. He did not ID 2 elderly people that came in after and was not “policy” it was simply a smart ass behind a counter.

Very bad customer service, staff constantly talking or playing on their phones. I was there for 2 hours and not approached at all by staff asking if I would like a drink. Had to chase down a staff member who was too busy yapping away at a pokie tech. Asked for a coffee, and the woman actually sighed. Left straight away. On top of that I’m constantly getting hounded by people hanging around me and watching me play and asking for cigarettes and giving me lessons how I should play the pokies. Where’s your security oh that’s right he’s at the front chatting with staff.

Poor customer service in facilities. Staffs never smile at it's customers and instead hide in the corners with their phone or gossiping in their own language with each other. Hotel is poorly managed with very low level of experience with conflict resolution. Maybe licensees needs to spend more time on premises to experience hotel level of customer service and provide further training to Staffs.

Wow this place is underestimated!!! Newly renovated and quiet dining experience. More importantly the food is AMAZING and staff are very polite and helpful. Will gladly come back more
