I was there for lunch after I rectified a issue at a store nearby. Barramundi was perfect, no complaints. Fast and professional. Note: I did however have my lunch on a Thursday and it was not busy.
We came to Crossways for lunch. It was a quiet Monday and we ordered the daily special rump and chicken schnitzel. I double checked with the chef for medium rare steak - and boy, it was PERFECT! The chips were super crunchy and the side salad was fresh if not slightly too much dressing. Will be back again!
Had a great experience at Crossways Hotel. Food: The meals were excellent — well presented, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. Great quality and good value for what you get. Service: Staff were friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. Orders were taken promptly and everything ran smoothly, even during a busy period. Atmosphere: Relaxed, welcoming, and well set up. Clean venue with a great vibe, whether you’re there for a meal, a drink, or to catch up with friends. Overall, a really solid venue that gets all the basics right and more. Would happily return and recommend.
I came to this place with a “typical pub food” expectation but we were blown away with the quality of the meals here. Absolutely exceptional. Highly recommend if you want a laid back venue with high quality food.
Flat beer tough steak, and raw carrots. I've eaten here many times, never have I had such a bad experience. Maybe Wednesday was being run by the apprentices. That steak was too sinewy to be served. It was a disgrace! The gas needs to be changed on the beer. The carrots - who'd care to complain about a raw carrot? Maybe it was the fork not being sharp enough, it just wouldn't go in! Skidded my gravy pot off my plate, my fault, I should have spooned it. An off night, I hope. But I won't be rushing back.
