The netting on the two storey equipment is wide enough for the 8-10 y.o. children to fall through and plunge 2-3m to the ground, let alone toddlers. The vertical ladder on the side is easy enough for toddlers to climb up there. The playground is between the service road and busy Coronation Parade, but the fencing is only on the service road side, and kids are free to try and run onto the parade with buses and bumper to bumper traffic. Amazing layout. Not sure why Sydney councils like to create playgrounds, parks and walking trails adjacent to arterial roads so much. Why do people have to breathe in traffic emissions even when they rest or exercise?
