Went in on Saturday night. No food just alcohol. Disappointing as we live just down the road. Pleasant looking place. No one welcomed us or asked us any questions. Would have given food and service 1 star as there was none.

Ran out of avo toast by 10am... but somehow could still sell avocado as a side? Then waited 50 minutes for scrambled eggs, only for staff to ask after questioning multiple times "did you even order anything?" and then request proof of order on my bank statement.

We had a very disappointing experience at Bonnibel, both during our stay and especially on the morning of our checkout. At 7:35 am, with a taxi booked for 8:00, I asked the barista if we had enough time to order breakfast. I clearly explained our timing, and while I had no way of knowing how long the kitchen would take, the bar was almost empty and there was no sign of rush. The barista reassured me we’d be fine, though with a limited menu. Based on his guarantee, we placed a simple order at 7:39: one fruit & yogurt bowl and one toast with fried eggs. Very basic dishes. What followed was frustrating: orders for people who came after us were prepared and served first, while ours never arrived. By 7:50 I had to go back to the counter and remind the barista that our food still hadn’t been served. Only then did he say he would check on it. By 7:55, another order came out—but again, not ours. Finally, with our taxi minutes away, our food was given to us in takeaway boxes. Waiting more than 20 minutes for such simple dishes, especially after being told it would be fine, shows a serious lack of organization. The barista’s response — “I’m not responsible for how the kitchen manages orders” — is unacceptable. He was the one who reassured us, and when you make a promise to a customer, you need to ensure it’s delivered. Expectations matter, and this was a complete letdown. At least he remade my coffee, which by then had gone cold, but the overall experience was a disaster. This wasn’t our only issue: a few nights earlier, at 8:35 pm, we went down to order a sandwich. The menu clearly stated the restaurant was open until 9:00 pm. The kitchen was spotless and empty, but we were told the kitchen had already closed at 8:30. If that’s the case, it should be written clearly on the menu, instead of misleading guests. Overall, Bonnibel seriously failed to deliver on the basics: honesty, timing, and service. This is the kind of experience that frustrates customers and damages the credibility of a place.

I recently celebrated Mother’s Day at Bonnibel and it was amazing. The food and the service was great. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The general area is super modern and funky - all in all it was a lovely place to be 👍

Had a very special mother's day lunch at Bonnibel. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious and well priced, and the outdoor dining area was beautiful! We will be back very soon.
