We visited a couple of Saturdays ago for dinner, the venue & the service was fantastic I drive through Swansea on a regular basis, the front of the venue from the main road side does not do justice to how fantastic it is once you drive round the back A great sized car park allows easy access straight into the large outdoor beer garden There was a large group of us of 8 adults, 10 kids who all ordered food via the QR code on the table - without even advising the kitchen they ensured that all the kids meals came out first followed by the adults - the app had said approx 40 minute wait but the meals were all out in less than 30 One of our group also ordered some beers at the bar but as the keg needed changing brought the drinks to the table for them Overall a fantastic experience and well worth the visit
27th Jan 2026, our first visit here specifically for the bistro. Parking along the main road and at the back of the hotel where we entered which was straight into the very large outdoor dining area with kids play area. Also alot of seating inside with accessible bar and bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible bathroom easily accessible too. We ordered prawn tacos, soy chicken nibbles, mushrrom/brisket arancini, loaded wedges entrees. Also got porchetta pork belly with the ribs & nibbles add on. Everything was very nice! A little disappointed with the loaded wedges, wasn't as loaded as expected. The pork was a little dry but still tasted good with the kare kare sauce. It was very quiet when we dined here but I'd imagine there would be quite a wait for food if it were busy. We appreciated they had a few different things on the menu, not just all the usual you find at most places. Will be back again to try other things.
We sat outside listening to a solo guitarist which was lovely. There is an enclosed play area for the children that is easy to keep an eye on. You have a great selection of food for adults and children. We didn't have wait long for our food to be ready at all. There's ample parking at the rear.
Food - delicious Venue - beautiful Service - average. Most of the staff were friendly, however there was one person who very clearly needs to find a new job outside of hospitality. She could not have been more unpleasant, made us all feel like we were such an inconvenience by just bringing out our meals to the tables? No smiles, pleasantries or anything. The way the food was bought out she may as well have slammed the plates on the table. This may sound dramatic but it honestly put such a damper on the whole experience!
First time visiting Swansea hotel since the new renovations the place looked lovely, very inviting. The play area was great and undercover which is always a plus. It became very busy and over crowded quickly as the place started to fill up. Once the place filled up was also very loud. We had a great time. Until it came to the food. Because they were busy it did take some time to get the food (understandable) I ordered the steak sandwich, which said it was Grilled sirloin, I was looking forward to it.... It came out was completely cold, and my cheese was unfortunately thicker than my "sirloin steak" I would say more like a sizzle steak, very very disappointed especially for $24 and the Turkish bread would have been more enjoyable even slightly toasted. The extra cost the swap from normal chips to sweet potato chips I feel is an unreasonable cost. Can say the sauce sizing is huge and perfect. Spoke with the super nice lady that was the manager, who apologised and did offer another meal (I declined). I did except a soft drink. She was also passing on feedback.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
