A very impressive venue where the staff are friendly and considerate. A genuinely friendly atmosphere in an excellent location opposite the northern end of Lake Macquarie. Boasting clean amenities, an appealing outdoor area, interesting gaming room where patrons are offered beverages and snacks. The bistro caters for patrons with an excellent selection of food for lunch and dinner. I'd recommend this gem to anyone!

This is a long review. We stayed here 4 nights 2nd from the end, facing the side st. (east). Bathroom looks new. We were told we don't get the room made up everyday, but we got fresh towels and bins emptied everyday. Room is very noisy from road noise. Door didn't fully seal which allowed another more road noise, but we used the air-conditioning for white noise. Remember you are staying above a pub, so there is live music on weekends. Easy to hear from your room. wifi and reception is poor. Great location. Looks out to lake. Get coffee across the road at Ally Expresso. Not enough parking but you can park next door behind the shops. As for the Bistro, great range and service. Warning, read the reviews fully. If you are ordering steak, and you prefer more than raw, please check it before you start eating.

My daughter, teenage grandson and I visited the restaurant yesterday for lunch. It was a hot day and because it was a very crowded we had to sit outside. The hedge was too high for us to see anything of the lovely view and beneath the hedge was a lot of rubbish. The meal was quite disappointing. The beetroot hummus lacked lemon and was tasteless. The Thai salad needed a stronger, more tasty dressing and the aioli with the chips was very bland. On the plus side the strawberry mocktail was delicious.

Welcomed from the moment we walked in by a very friendly manager named Brody. The rooms were immaculate and meals in the restaurant were absolutely amazing. All staff in every department were very humbling and just gave out a very friendly vibe, it was a pleasure to have met them all. Could not fault, the best location right across from the lake also, waking up with water views was very calming also. Will definitely return in the future,. Thankyou to all 😊

My partner and I had dinner here for our anniversary! The staff were very friendly and it was a pretty quiet Sunday night. If I can recommend anything to try it’s the pulled beef brisket bao buns! They were absolutely delicious and a 10/10 starter. The scotch fillet steak with mash and veg was also great but definitely a bit more raw than I anticipated. My partner had the Beef ragu which was also really flavourful. Safe to say we were both pretty stuffed afterwards. They have a great selection of drink choices too which was really nice.
