I only had a coffee in-house this visit, but it was a good one. Staff are really lovely and welcoming, atmosphere is comfortable, friendly and eclectic. Seating options range from tables to lounge chairs, to a large shared table by the front window with a comfortable bench seat. Music was soulful in nature, although a little louder than I like. There is outside seating available in the breezeway/courtyard which I think will be a nice option once the weather warms up a little. I ordered a braised beef and chestnut mushroom pit to takeaway which looks delicious. The range of sweet treats (four options) all looked yummy, with one intriguing gluten free option, orange and white chocolate. I’ll be back to try a meal in the future.

MAGIC! The What If Society has quickly become my absolute favourite restaurant in the highlands! I recommend ordering the Just Feed Me menu which is the chefs curation of four menu items - it gives you a real taste of what this venue is all about and is amazing value, but you can also select straight from the menu if you wish. What I love about the Just Feed Me menu, and the Locals Night (Thursday) menu is that the decisions are made for you, and you'll never be disappointed by what's served - the cooking is creative and innovative, and the overall experience is straight up exciting. The passion and attention to detail is obvious in every dish and like me, you'll be planning your next visit before you've even paid your bill. The drinks menu is perfectly sized - a beautiful list of signature cocktails to select from (and THE BEST dirty martini!), along with a well curated wine list. Ask for your wines to be matched to your meals to unlock a whole new level of enjoyment. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast too - the coffee is excellent and you can grab something from the display cabinet for laters. The menu changes monthly, showcasing the best (local) in-season produce which features front and centre in each dish. The chef is a true alchemist and her vision and creativity is there on every plate, in every menu release. I've eaten here with friends and with family, and everyone has been blown away. Thank you for an amazing experience EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. What Eilish and her team have created here is nothing short of MAGIC!

Absolutely blown away by this place. And that’s hard to do. Incredible atmosphere, styling, and menu. Super impressed by the original cocktail creativity too! We had the Chefs Tasting Menu which was phenomenal, original, dynamic and seamless. Hats off to the Chef and her Team. Bravo.

What an amazing place! We had the surprise menu for lunch, and we were surprised! The food was fantastic, much of it home grown or locally sourced. The food was also creative - both in flavour and presentation. Cocktails were unique, the homemade lemonade was a treat. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and affable. What an amazing addition to the Moss vale community!

We LOVED this cafe - so much so that we went back the next day for brekkie. We did the surprise tasting menu for lunch which was so nice — they catered to my partner’s dietary and all the creations were so flavourful. You also get a lot of food for the price. Everything was so fresh and different, so highly recommend just doing this option and making an experience out of it! For breakfast I had the omelet with bacon and it might of been the best omelet I’ve ever had in my life 😍 You can just tell how much care went into the food and the service was super friendly too. 10/10!
