If you like Italian, Cecelia is a must visit. If I’ve been previously which was good, but with their new michellen starred chef, the food is absolutely next level & exceptional value. You won’t find better Italian in North Sydney. Especially at this price point.
We were fortunate to have our last dinner of our Sydney trip at Cecilia. It was truly a wonderful dinner. We will never forget the precious memories we had at Cecilia. Thank you for your hospitality and excellent food.
This place took me back to Italy. We came for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the arincini, ragu, swordfish pasta and tiramisu. Service and atmosphere just completed the experience. Will definitely be back.
Authentic Italian chefs — it truly feels like a slice of Italy right here in North Sydney. Everything is made fresh: the pasta, the focaccia, the pastries… you can even watch the pastry chef at work in the mornings. The food and pastries are simply outstanding. The produce is fresh, and the smoked salmon with my scrambled eggs was one of the most delicate and flavourful I’ve had, all made with care by proper chefs. They serve the most delicious cookies with coffee, such a thoughtful touch. The décor is stylish and perfectly suited to one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in North Sydney — it makes the whole experience even more special. You don’t often find freshly baked pastries and crisp cookies made daily in Sydney these days, so a restaurant that does this really deserves to do well and stay around. We couldn’t be happier to have Cecilia open in the area — and I hear their Negroni is excellent too! Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Interesting mixed of flavour palette for a Italian Restaurant, asparagus risotto is particular my top favourite. Couldn’t drink any alcoholic drinks that day but the waiter/owner suggested an off menu mocktail - blueberry + lychee, a very refreshing drinks with a light lychee aftertaste. Exceptional service and the food arrives pretty quick considering the number of customers in the restaurant, good job!
