Appin Hotel

Stopped here for a Sunday lunch, I've been trying to find a spice bag in Macarthur and this is the one I found, and what a find! Intense flavour, heaps of volume and amazing curry sauce... will be back to try some more of the chefs specials.

Everything was top notch, especially the staff who were really kind and gave us extra food. They were always checking in with us and asking us if everything was good and if we needed anything else. Highly recommend, good environment 5/5

Excellent Pub with a huge pub feed menu. Their Chicken Schnitzel was fantastic followed by a most delectable, deliciously sweet, Sticky date pudding. Ken Yum! A great selection of beers on tap from multiple breweries including Toohey's New, Carlton Draft, VB, Coopers and Guinness. The staff were friendly and fast considering the place was heaving with people. Again, an excellent pub. Five stars.

After a recommendation from a friend who stated the food was amazing, I was going to give this place a go. So beyond glad we did! The food is top notch, however the real positive part about the experience is actually the staff. To the team on today 8/11/2025 for lunch service, I want to thank you all. It’s the welcoming attitudes from ordering the drinks to the food. (Also listening to the staff make recommendations to others that came into the establishment from the bar while I ordered drinks)! And each time another customer collected a meal from the window the male staff member was so truely warm and friendly but most importantly passionate about the meals being served. It honestly just made the experience not feel like it was our first time, but that we were truly valued just as much as each local that came through the doors, that were known by first or nick name basis. Even on our way out as I do each meal I thanked the male staff member and even had a genuine question from him asking “how was it?” It’s those little comments and also added aioli that customers remember. I’ve since returned home and passed this experience onto my parents, who have already began to organise a lunch with their friends. -food items we ordered were the Share plate as entree (the prawns were delicious!) Double Appin burger (beef was seasoned so well!) Boscaiola parmigiana (portion size is brilliant!)

I am reviewing the meal... Wonderful value, great price, generous servings. And the chef has done a wonderful job.... well done to all the staff. As you can see from previous reviews of pubs, hotels and restaurants... I do not hold back.... you guys deserve a great review, and more people need to experience great food and an affordable price... with friendly approachable and humours staff... Thank you
