What a fabulous find. Interesting menu with its own style and variety. Fresh, tasty and great portion sizes. The staff were warm yet professional. Clearly a solid respectful team supporting the owners to deliver a great dining experience. Oh, and the cocktail was superb.

Went for an anniversary dinner and we were absolutely delighted. We had the chef’s degustation with matching wines. The dishes were awesome and a delight to the senses, with all sorts of layered flavours and textures. The quantities were perfect and the presentation exquisite. The wines were good portions and excellent adjuncts to the food. Value for money, given the quality and thought in the food is outstanding and I can’t recommend this too highly. I love a good degustation and this one punched way above its weight, and is pretty much as good as you’ll get anywhere. The staff were also wonderful: friendly, helpful, efficient and interesting - thank you! Oh yes, the cocktails were varied and exquisite. We had a great anniversary. I don’t live nearby, but I’ll find a way to come back.

Lovely food, oysters were superb, duck was a generous size serving and the service was friendly, fast and helpful. One gripe: you’re a restaurant not a cafe or a cheap eats, have some decent cutlery. Skinny, hard to hold and blunt. Ditch the school tuck shop eating irons please!

We were extremely disappointed with our experience. As an entrée, we ordered the grilled Clarence River octopus skewer and were shocked to be served three baby octopus for $24. The portion size and value were absolutely appalling for the price. For mains, my partner and I both ordered the blue swimmer crab linguine, which was bland and completely lacking flavour. It was underwhelming and not at all what you’d expect from a dish at this price point. Overall, this restaurant is overrated, and we definitely won’t be returning to spend our hard-earned money here.

Our new favourite restaurant! We had an outstanding dining experience - the food was exceptional as was the service. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate. The menu standouts were the grilled shark bay half shell scallops and prawns, the blue swimmer crab linguine, the Bangalow pork cutlet and the chai creme brûlée. The portion sizes were very generous and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and our waiter, Caleb, made our dining experience so enjoyable with his polished and friendly manner - he was so attentive to our needs and was very helpful with menu selections. On the whole, it was a flawless dining experience from start to finish. We will definitely be returning and can’t recommend this place highly enough.
