Seri Bar is a bar in Haymarket. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 200m away, Belmore Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Recently moved from Bangkok and loving Seri!- as Khun Toffee said - such a gem! Great drinks deals, Singh towers, … i make a great Margarita & usually disappointed elsewhere - but this Margarita here - & on happy hour! - is excellent! If only they had Beer Lao dark would be icing on the cake! (they do have Carabao Dunkel) 😁 (No food, buy locally and bring in) - Must go if you are Thai or Thailand expat! .. Whisky sour, Mango Margherita - omg! 2/6/26 update - the best spicy margarita i’ve had in last 10 yrs was at “El Kilo” in Bogota. Until today at Seri! 🍹
the bar overall was great. the music and all the other customers singing along to the band was very atmospheric. i also liked the decorations and lighting also make it a great place to take photos. i also heard the popcorns are great here but when i arrived it was already gone so i didnt have the chance to try it. one problem was that when i arrived with my friends, the ground was sticky which didn’t make it seem very hygienic.
A hidden Thai bar in Sydney. Come here if you want the real Thai bar experience. The drinks are great, the vibe is authentic, and it feels like a little slice of Thailand right in the city.
Such a hidden gem in the heart of Sydney! Seri Bar brings an authentic slice of Thailand with its retro decor, neon signs, and vintage Thai posters that instantly take you back to Bangkok’s nightlife scene. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of character — from the cozy lighting to the quirky collectibles everywhere you look. The cocktails are creative and Thai-inspired, with unique flavors you won’t find elsewhere. The bartenders are friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s a perfect spot to chill with friends, enjoy great music, and soak up the fun vibes. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a bar that’s anything but ordinary!
The vibes were excellent, the bartenders were friendly, and allows you to BYO food as long as you buy drinks. They have happy hour (as of writing this its 28/05/2025 so it may change) from 6-8pm where cocktails are 15$. Me and my friends were super pleased and already planning to bring our other groups of friends with us next time, the bar has become a solid contender for one of the many spots we would revisit. The live music was amazing to just listen too, and I would highly recommend for anyone to visit if they like a relaxed but still lively atmosphere for a bar, and some unique shots to go with as well. The shots are mostly 12$, but had interested themes that made it well worth. The water served was cold, and free properly salted popcorn to boot would already have this place highly rated for me, everything else solidified it to a solid 5/5 experience. I highly recommend anyone who was thinking of visiting here, or just found this review to check out this bar in person. I guarantee the experience will be pleasant at minimum, at best it will be something to remember for a first impression for a long time compared to other bars in Sydney.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
