What people say
El Camino Cantina, An authentic fun Mexican themed restaurant conveniently located in the entertainment quarter at Moore park. Offering a tasty range of Mexican style tacos burritos nachos, paired with custom cocktails along with tequila Classics, Food was fresh, tasty and hot, Service was a little bit of a mess long wait times mucked up orders and physically had to ask staff for service, Once we ordered our food and drinks, the drinks that we had ordered they did not have any in stock and instead another leak wait time, cocktails came when we had finished our meals. As we were seated at the bar, I thought this was quite strange as we were in plain site. Bartender seemed disinterested and unmotivated pouring mass produced cocktails from 10 L bottle straight into glasses. Which seemed a bit unprofessional. Mexican sombreros and decor of the restaurant was quite cool and unique Tacos where tasty and had plenty of variety for everyone, Cocktails were slapped together and weren’t the most enjoyable. Parking in large multi level story carpark at the entertainment quarter. Onsite amenities. Staffed seemed friendly enough, Fairly priced. Not bad for a casual dining night out or lunch.
Ellen provided such a lovely dining experience. She was welcoming, attentive and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. She checked in at the right times without being overbearing and handled everything with professionalism and warmth. It really made our visit enjoyable.
Every visit to El Camino Cantina is a burst of energy, flavour, and pure fun — but what truly makes this place stand out is the incredible team behind it. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine warmth and attention that makes you feel instantly welcome. A huge shoutout to the General Manager, whose leadership and presence set the tone for an exceptional experience. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and attention to detail are reflected in every aspect of the restaurant she truly runs the place with heart and excellence. And of course, special recognition goes to Ellen, one of the most outstanding servers I’ve ever met. She’s friendly, attentive, and always smiling — her energy and dedication elevate the whole dining experience. It’s rare to find someone who makes every table feel personally cared for the way she does. Between the vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, legendary margaritas, and a team that genuinely loves what they do, El Camino Cantina Moore Park isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a celebration you’ll want to come back to again and again. 🌮🍹🔥 Gracias Totales !!!!
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) We visited El Camino Cantina at the Entertainment Quarter recently, and overall, it was an okay experience — neither great nor disappointing, just somewhere in between. To start with the positives, the service was absolutely superb. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. They checked in often, made sure our orders were correct, and created a lively and upbeat atmosphere that really matched the fun Mexican theme of the place. The energy and music inside made it a vibrant spot to hang out, especially if you’re with friends or family looking for a casual evening out. Now, onto the food. We tried a few dishes, and it was a mixed bag. The corn on the cob and chicken wings were unfortunately far too salty, which overpowered the flavour of everything else. The tacos were just okay — nothing particularly memorable, though not bad either. The best dish of the night was definitely the Chicken Adobo Burrito. It was well-cooked, had a nice balance of flavours, and felt hearty and satisfying. If we return, that’s probably the one item we’d order again. Overall, El Camino has a great vibe and excellent staff, but the food quality was inconsistent. With a few tweaks to seasoning and a bit more balance in flavour, it could easily go from average to excellent. Right now, I’d say it’s worth a try if you’re in the area and love Mexican food, but go in with moderate expectations — you’ll enjoy the atmosphere more than the food itself. A decent experience, but not one I’d rush back for just yet.
I went to El Camino tonight for my birthday and it was so fun! Alicia who served us was beyond amazinggggg! She was so lovely, polite and made sure we were taken care of. She kept checking in on us and had the nicest chats. I even got a free cocktail. Food is always great! Buffalo wings and popcorn chicken tacos are a must!
