The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, and the ambient atmosphere especially the stunning views overlooking the Opera House set a very high expectation for the evening. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the setting. We dined on the Charlotte set menu and ordered additional starters, as the portions felt insufficient. Our order included the wagyu beef tartare, calamari, yellowtail kingfish, mac and cheese, eye fillet with beef tallow chips and mushroom and chilli sauce, followed by the wagyu fat délice and pistachio bombe for dessert. The wagyu beef tartare was extremely underwhelming, lacking any real depth of flavour beyond raw egg yolk and meat. It felt poorly seasoned and uninspired looked like dog food, and the pairing with baby gem lettuce felt odd and non-traditional, more reminiscent of a san choy bow than a refined tartare. The calamari was pleasant but unremarkable, while the yellowtail kingfish was beautifully presented yet disappointingly bland. The mac and cheese was enjoyable, though overly salty. The eye fillet was inconsistently cooked across our group despite each guest being asked their preferred doneness, and the presentation felt more like a pub-style dish than something expected from a fine dining steak restaurant. Dessert was the highlight and genuinely redeemed the experience. The wagyu fat délice was rich, indulgent, and well-balanced, while the pistachio bombe was refreshing and thoughtfully composed, with flavours that complemented each other beautifully. Overall, despite the excellent service and breathtaking location, the food fell short. With so many superior fine dining steak options across Sydney, this is not a restaurant I would return to.

Atmosphere and service was genuinely amazing. Staff were attentive and warm, especially Imran who was our main server of the night. I really appreciated him fixing our wobbly table too. The food was somewhat hit and a miss throughout the 6 course sharing menu. The artisan bread and wagyu charcuterie was great but the remaining starters were a bit of a let down. The calamari was overcooked and tough. The stracciatella was more yoghurt than actually stracciatella. The scallop ceviche flavours weren’t balanced out very well and had quite the sour note. The wagyu mb7+ rump was quite tough and lacked seasoning. The accompanying chimchurri sauce was not great but luckily we had ordered the mushroom sauce as well which was delicious. The stems/core of the baby gem salad were not cut off and it added quite a bitter taste. The pistachio bombe dessert was the highlight for me and utterly scrumptious. Overall, great service and ambience, food was a bit disappointing.

Booked our table as the “last date” for me & my fiance before our first baby arrives in a couple of weeks. We didnt have a set expectation so were blown away by the amazing food - katsu sandwich was so worth every bite, demolished the tomahawk with that addicting mushroom sauce, and was refreshed by your pistachio bombe. Best of all, Imran made our date extra special with his good vibes, service, and a congratulatory cake! Thank you for making our lunch date extra memorable. We’ll be back after bub arrives!

I dined at 6HEAD and had a great overall experience. The steak was good, but not particularly “wow.” However, the real star of the meal was the XO prawn — it was absolutely delicious, especially the sauce. It reminded me of the rich prawn sauces you often find in Singaporean or Indonesian dishes. So flavorful! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. The service was excellent, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. As a lovely surprise, they also provide a complimentary mini birthday cake if you’re celebrating your birthday — such a thoughtful touch that made the visit feel extra special.

Food was really good. The seared tuna is definitely my favorite, reminds me of my childhood favorite instant noodle flavor 😂. Beef tartare was what you would expect from a good beef tartare, creamy, fresh. Although i find that the beef itself was a bit too rich with a lot of fat when i expected the beef to be leaner for a tartare, nevertheless still a good beef tartare. Escargot were addicting, unfortunately ran out of bread to eat the butter with. The Ribeye was fantastic, love the glaze that they cooked it with. The chimichurri was one of the best I’ve had, though could use a little acidity. Broccolini was not for me, though still good. Service by the team were top notch, super attentive, kudos to the team!
