. We held our intimate wedding celebration at this venue and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the event. The atmosphere was beautiful and perfectly suited to our special occasion. The manager was highly accommodating and ensured that all of our requests were met with care and flexibility. Our guests were genuinely impressed by the outstanding service and the warm, relaxed ambience. We are very grateful for the team’s efforts in making our celebration so memorable.

We booked Cooks@Kurnell for a birthday celebration with around 40 guests, including food and drinks, and we honestly could not have been happier with how the day turned out. The venue and ambiance were absolutely beautiful—it genuinely felt like we’d escaped on a mini holiday for the afternoon with all our friends. The café manager was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the entire event feel effortless from start to finish. We were even able to invite a group of musicians and dancers, which added something really special to the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, with the fish tacos being a standout, and the cocktails were fantastic—especially the frozen margaritas! As the sun set, we stayed on to enjoy delicious wood‑fired pizzas, which was the perfect way to end the day. Everyone had a wonderful time, including the kids, who loved spending time at the café’s playground. Highly recommend Cooks@Kurnell for a special celebration or event—we’ll definitely be back.

We hosted a triple birthday celebration yesterday at Cook at Kurnell and it was absolutely perfect. We were lucky to have a sunny day and used the beach sand section — it truly felt like a private summer party by the ocean. The atmosphere was relaxed and tropical, the food was fresh and delicious, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Montana, who was professional, friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She made the whole experience stress-free. Love Cook at Kurnell ❤️ the beachy relaxed vibe was perfect for my special lunchtime birthday celebration. Montana and the team were so accomodating with my group of 20. The variety of food was deliciously perfect and for all the dietary preferences and those fabulous cocktails went down a treat! I highly recommend this wonderful venue for any special celebration. Cook @ Kurnell is a fun, relaxed beachside restaurant with a South American twist. It’s a great spot for food or drinks by the water, with a laid-back vibe that suits families and groups alike. ☕ Drinks: The flat white was smooth and well-made with nice latte art. The kids’ strawberry milkshake was huge and a definite hit — great value and flavour. 🍽️ Food: The menu was decently varied, though we only saw the morning one. Prices reflect the location rather than the portions or presentation, but everything tasted good and arrived as expected. 😊 Staff: Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. Staff seemed relaxed but attentive, adding to the easygoing atmosphere. 🏖️ Decor & location: The beachside setting is fantastic, with colourful South American-inspired decor that matches the coastal vibe perfectly. I’d love to come back for an afternoon or evening drink. 👶 Kid friendliness: Very family-friendly, with highchairs, a kids’ menu, and even a small play area out the back. A great place to enjoy the beachside setting and unwind — I’d happily return, especially for afternoon drinks with a view.
