Beacon Hill Reserve is a large open reserve with two sportsfields that double as a designated off-leash area at set times — it is worth checking the current signage for hours before visiting. The off-leash area is unfenced, so it suits dogs that stay close, and there is parking, toilets and a playground on hand. When the fields are free, there is plenty of room for a good run. A spacious local spot for timed off-leash exercise.
Off-leash dog exercise area across both sportsfields. Off-leash 11:00 PM – 8:30 AM weekdays, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM weekends. Unfenced.
Two large fields, where kids can be kids, have fun, play sport or just chill in the play ground, which is fenced- kids must be supervised at all times. When the fields are not in use dogs can use it-and they love it. The only tricky bit Is getting fur baby and human baby to go home, and navigating the sharp turn to the left to the lights. Definitely needs to filter arrows.
Great local park. Has a couple of fields. Basketball court is half court, concrete and prone to puddles.... Otherwise it's good. Playground has good equipment. Small kids bush walking is good around the sides of the park. Has toilets that aren't always open but there's a McDonald's across the road if you need to go
Always a nice spot to take time off the beaten track, away from the mania on the roads not to mention the pollution and take a well earned break! Cat nap.
Two of the best sports fields on the northern beaches. This park is always used from the short bushwalk to the lookout or by club training or families wanting park time.
The view was absolutely beautiful. The walk up there is not to much, though a bit rocky once you make it to the top it is 100% worth it.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
