The Tame Fox is a dog-friendly pub in Erina, with dogs welcome in outdoor area.
Nice location with plenty of off street parking. Iced latte was nice & smooth. My falafel wrap was very tasty. My daughter loved the Chicken burger. The only thing that let it down was all the flies inside and no salt on the fries. No salt or pepper offered or supplied with the cutlery.
Definitely a favourite spot! The space for kids is great. Would love to see some of the broken toys removed but otherwise it’s such a great space. Food & coffee is really good! Dessert cabinet has the goods
Food was very nice & very large portion. Gluten free options. Service was good. It was very busy & very noisy. We went back a 2nd time a bit earlier & it wasnt so noisy. Will become a favourite when in Erina.
Place was alright, fairly busy, but quick service. Food prices are quite high, but maybe that’s because I from out of town, although last night we were eating at Elements in Sydney…so maybe it’s just over priced here. Food was served quick, the coffee smelled nice, and was strong, but yet somehow bland, also very small. Food was presented well but the entirety of it was average. No flavour “stood out” on my burger, and the only note worthy things on my partners big fox breakfast was the Eggs and sourdough. The Chorizo was too salty to eat, probably the worst he’s ever tried apparently. The problem with this cafe wasn’t the preparation, or the presentation, it’s simply the quality of the ingredients. Very cheap and it definitely shows. I wouldn’t return and I do think there is definitely better value to be had elsewhere on the coast. The last photos is how much I left of my meal and drink.
Really really good burgers. The chicken schnitzel burger was a meal and was super crunchy and well seasoned. The wagyu beef burger was very decent. As a self proclaimed burger aficionado, with top ten list, it made it into the top ten. I'll definitely be back We also had the acai bowl and the arancini. Both were super yummy and enjoyed - especially the truffles arancini. The kids playground was really run down and very very dirty, so bring a change of clothes. There were tables inside the playground, which made it convenient to eat while kids played We'll be back after I go and try my top ten burgers again to see where this ranks... road trip!
