Dog rules

Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Good views and seating, but no shade. A nice, quiet spot for sea views or reading.

A beautiful panoramic spot sits up high enough to watch migrating whales or a peaceful place to sit and read a book after watching the sun rise over the horizon greeting a new day. This place was built and dedicated by a loving husband to his wife gone too soon almost 100 years ago. Noticed a few engraved love locks on the chain fence expressing eternal love, make sure you throw away the key and make a wish. I think it's a magical place.
