The Entrance Beach is a relaxed Central Coast beach with a designated off-leash dog area listed by the council. Dogs are allowed off-leash in the marked section under effective control, and it is worth checking the council signage for the hours and boundaries. There is parking close by and open sand for a run and a swim. A friendly beach for an off-leash outing.

Very beautiful beach with the limestore formation. Free limited parking for up to 2hours, very clean & tidy footpath that goes to a pub behind the hill

A peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for families and nature lovers. During low tide, the water becomes shallow and safe — lots of kids were happily playing in the area. It’s not crowded with fishers, so it stays calm and quiet. I saw many pelicans and waterbirds swimming around, and they weren’t afraid of people at all — I even captured some great photos of them! The natural beauty here is stunning, especially with birds gliding over the water. Highly recommend for a relaxing visit and some lovely wildlife moments.

“The Entrance, NSW is absolutely stunning! The beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere make it a perfect getaway. I loved seeing pelicans by the water, and the park was just perfect for a relaxing day out. The big screen and the talented musicians on the street added so much charm to the place. Everything was amazing!”

The naturally formed shallow water makes it a perfect spot for young kids to play safely. It’s also a great place to observe pelicans, fish, and other lovely wildlife. A relaxing and family-friendly destination!
