What an amazing find...we were on holidays from Brisbane for Christmas and staying at Ettalong. On the 27th we drove around the Central Coast up as far as Avoca looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Everywhere was crowded, queues or closed. Then we stumbled on Satang-Thai Cafe at Woy Woy. What a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The food and coffee were amazing. One of the best Smashed Avo's I have ever had. We hope to come back for lunch or dinner before we head back home.

This is my absolute favourite cafe on the Central Coast, and has been since I moved here 5 years ago. I take all of my friends here for a catch up, coffee and pastries, or lunch! I regularly get the take away thai chicken curry for dinner as it’s sensational. Don’t take my word for it, just try it for yourself. It’s a family business and apart from the food, the service is wonderful!

I went in and I was thinking about what to order and the guy behind the counter got all agitated and kept sighing because “oh they were so busy” with ONE table of 4 who already had their coffee and I was such an inconvenience. He eventually forced a menu into my hands and just looked at me like I was a piece of garbage. The woman behind him looked embarrassed for his lack of customer service. He seems to forget people like me pay his wages and if he doesn’t want to be kind he should go work in a warehouse so he can just be miserable by and to himself. I promptly put the menu down and left. To think I was going to reserve a table of 12 for a birthday here next week. Not happening now.

Came across this little cafe and although I was a little apprehensive because there was no one in there, I decided to try it anyway and I’m so glad I did. There was options for everyone ranging from all day breakfast including favorites like Eggs Benedict a BLT, smashed avocado, pancakes and Thai. I opted for Thai and it did not disappoint it was beautifully presented, fresh and oh so tasty. This would have to be my favorite Thai on the central coast. Definitely a must to visit.
