The Duck Pond is a park in Narara. Dog access isn't confirmed, but it may be worth checking.

Dog rules

Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Having just moved to the area and noticed the title 'duck pond' on our local maps, we were excited to visit. Unfortunately, sounds like it may have been a nice spot years ago but these days there really isn't anything to visit. The whole area is fenced off and appears to all be private property. There is no-where to sit or stop, we were only able to walk past on the footpath next to the road. We didn't see any ducks as we tried to peer through the fencing; having walked all that way with my children I was hoping to see something that might make the trip feel worthwhile but there was nothing, just a dirty, devoid of any bird life pond.

Locked gate, seats outside are in full sunlight and no ducks. Just mud and 6 ibis birds.

A lovely afternoon stroll to the duck pond is always fun. A bag of fresh corn, peas and rice and the ducks and geese are very happy indeed. Come at the right time and you get to see all the ducklings too!!!

There were ducks, but not much of a pond when I was there. There is an ingress capture point there too.
