Cottage Point Kiosk sits at the edge of Cowan Creek deep inside Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, accessed by a long winding road or — as many visitors prefer — by boat. The kiosk serves coffee, food, and milkshakes, with weather-sheltered outdoor seating overlooking the water. Staff help tie up arriving boats.
Dogs are permitted at the kiosk on-leash. The surrounding area sits within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, where NPWS rules generally restrict dogs from walking tracks — check signage before walking beyond the kiosk grounds. The kiosk is open Thursday to Monday, 8am to 4pm; closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Fantastic place in a wonderfully beautiful location. Parking can be awkward. The cafe is lovely with great staff the food looks great we will try it out next time for sure. We hired a boat and took a picnic onto the water ways. It was totally awesome and very relaxing. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do something nice and chilled on a beautiful sunny day. I will return for the food and bring my family when they visit.
Hired a picnic boat for a day. Smooth check-in and onboarding experience. Exciting journey for two families. Perfect for a good sunny day on a quiet remote beach.
Fantastic!!! An absolute hidden gem of Sydney… we hired a Boat, had a drink, ate delicious food amongst the tranquil surroundings. It feels like another world. The best experience ever. 👌👌👌
Got there by boat. Staff help us tie it up. The food might take a little while, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
Beautiful secluded spot. Visited with school group to have morning tea. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food n coffee (& milkshakes) were excellent. A very quiet and easy spot to while away the day.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
