Great dog friendly beach. Visited during public holiday and was plenty of room and water was lovely. Could use a tidy, we picked up some plastic along the shoreline.

I have a smaller dog and she had a great time. Many a butt was sniffed. The waves are smaller here, and my kids loved it. There were two slightly cranky dogs, but the owners seemed to know they were the cranky type and kept them leashed. (I should give it 1 star to keep it to myself.)
