Little Beach in Stockton is a relaxed dog-friendly beach where dogs can run off-leash on the sand and take to the water under effective control. The waves are gentle and there is usually plenty of room, which makes it an easy place for a swim and a play. It suits a calm beach outing, with the smaller surf good for dogs that prefer quieter water. A pleasant, low-key spot for a beach walk.
Designated leash-free area. Dogs are permitted off-leash between sunrise and sunset. Dogs must be accompanied, supervised, and controllable without a leash. Dangerous, aggressive, and restricted breeds are not permitted. Dog owners must remove all dog faeces. Dogs are not permitted on the Memorial Walk or within 10 metres of a playground. Great dog friendly beach. Visited during public holiday and was plenty of room and water was lovely. Could use a tidy, we picked up some plastic along the shoreline.
A nice tranquil place to sit and enjoy the scenery with a four legged friend or two 🐕🙂
I have a smaller dog and she had a great time. Many a butt was sniffed. The waves are smaller here, and my kids loved it. There were two slightly cranky dogs, but the owners seemed to know they were the cranky type and kept them leashed. (I should give it 1 star to keep it to myself.)
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
