Pierre De Coubertin Park has a gated off-leash dog area sectioned for small and large dogs. The enclosed layout gives dogs a secure place to run, and recent ground restoration has improved the surface. Shade, seating, drinking water and toilets make it comfortable for owners too, with dogs kept clear of the playground area as required.

100x better since the upgrade! Multiple climbing areas suitable for different age ranges, soft-fall ground across the whole thing, individual equipment, ground trampoline, swings, running track, heaps of seating (including suitable for eating at), aquafil with bubbler and tap. And best of all - shade! This has definitely gone top of the list for parks in Newington.

One of the best dog parks, gated and sectioned for different sized dogs, so the smaller dogs are not bowled over and overwhelmed by the larger dogs. The recent ground restoration is an improvement as no longer sloppy after heavy rains.
