A clean, open, and well-managed playground 🏏⚽ that’s always full of energy! You’ll often see different teams practicing, training, or playing matches here — cricket, soccer, and more. It’s great to watch or even join in sometimes! ✅ Best time to visit: Morning or evening 🌅🌇 — the weather’s pleasant and the ground feels lively. Avoid hot afternoons or very late hours (after 10 PM). 🚻 Facilities: Toilets are available, clean, and well-maintained. 🐶 Dog-friendly! Plus, there’s a dedicated dog park just next to it — perfect for your furry buddy to run around freely. 🏃‍♀️ There’s a 1.2 km walking/jogging track around the ground — great for morning walks, light runs, or just a refreshing stroll. It’s mainly a sports ground, not really a picnic park, but still a lovely place to enjoy open space, greenery, and fresh air 🌤️

Doyle Ground – A Spacious Park with Everything You Need Doyle Ground is one of the best parks I’ve come across in Parramatta. It’s a huge green open field, bigger than a regular football ground, fully covered with well-maintained grass. Whether you want to kick a ball, let the kids run around, or just enjoy the open space, this ground is perfect. All around the ground, there’s a concrete walking and cycling track. It’s great for jogging, walking, or even pushing a pram. The track is wide and clean, and it loops around the entire ground, so it’s good for laps and daily fitness routines. In one corner of the ground, there’s a kids’ play area filled with slides, swings, climbing equipment and everything children love. It’s right next to the green field, so families can relax nearby while the kids play safely. Near the play area, you’ll also find a public gym setup with basic exercise equipment. It’s not a full gym, but it’s good enough to get in some stretching or light workouts while enjoying the fresh air. On another corner of the ground, there are proper cricket nets – great for batting and bowling practice. They’re well-maintained and open to the public. There’s also a public toilet near the gym and play area, which is clean and adds convenience if you’re planning to stay for a while. Another nice touch – just across the road from the ground, near the container, there’s a small café that’s popular with locals. It’s not always open, so it's good to check the timing. But if it’s open, you can grab a coffee or breakfast after your morning walk or workout. It really adds to the overall vibe of the place. There’s plenty of parking on the streets around the ground, so it’s easy to drive in and out without stress. Overall, Doyle Ground is a fantastic place for both families and fitness lovers. You can do your morning walk, let the kids play, practice cricket, work out a bit, and even enjoy a coffee – all in one spot. Highly recommended!

I just love this ground. Its got a 1 km walking/ jogging track that goes all around. Kids play area, open gym, drinking water, benches and good toilet facilities. Never struggled to get a car park around here. During the day, its mostly occupied by Kids from School. There have recently installed better flood lights for evening/night. Edit. Get to spot quite a few cockatoos as well.

Lovely open ground and it was great to see Parramatta Council hosting a free family movie night. Great to hear that the ground is upgraded with a new pitch, new cricket ground and also solar lit foot paths

Nestled in the eastern part of North Parramatta, with residential and commercial buildings in short walking distance, Doyle Ground is a very large, well maintained open space. From a community perspective, it’s pure gold! ample enough to serve the needs of schools and other groups for sports activities, down to the track that measures a precise distance of 1km for measured running and walking on an individual basis. At one corner is a well constructed and maintained kids playground too! If you’re a distance away, then my photo shows you the two bus stops, making it easy to access. Additionally you can even access a small shopping complex for basic items such as groceries and treats. So, 5/5 is my score!
