What people say
No grandstand. Floods easily. Not enough parking surrounding it. Very basic athletics facility. Google maps has difficulty knowing the entrance.
This is a great park for younger children as it has a gate and is fenced on the street side for safety. It does open up on the other side to a grassed area near the athletic track but is a great open area for more play such as kicking a ball or chasing each other. The swings, see-saw and play equipment are not too advanced for toddlers who can enjoy the easier features geared towards their age group. The ground is fake grass which is much safer and less dirty than bark chips. There is some shade and some sunnier areas as well as covered benches and seats for the adults.
Small kids play area available. It’s good area for exercise and running. Exercise items available at end of the park.
Parramatta City Athletics - since 1971 Little Athletics Centre Friday night competition and midweek training, coaching available.
