Johnstone Street Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Peakhurst.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Under Georges River Council policy, dogs are permitted on-leash in public places except in designated leash-free areas; this park is listed on Council's Park and Reserve Facilities directory and is not a designated off-leash area.
Review is for younger kids specifically. The park is definitely for older kids, 5 and up I think but you'd need to keep an eye on then with the gully being where it is. It is also hard for pram access. All in all, I'd say if you have a pram, and younger children, there are definitely better options. But if you want to picnic with older kids and give them grass and a basic playground to run around, it's good
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
