It started off pretty well, until I asked for a bespoke cocktail. I told them multiple times to use the rolling technique for that drink. They kept confirming, but then made three drinks in a row using shaking and stirring techniques — everything except rolling 🫢. Good start, but a very disappointing ending. I won’t be coming back a second time (even though they do have a pretty good whisky selection).

This place has the purest vibe, its simply perfect. The drinks were extraordinary, the service remarkable, and the atmosphere sensational. I did not have the pleasure of tasting the food, for which I am sorely regretful.

Haven’t tried the food, but the cocktails are AMAZING and the service is excellent. Great music, too, at a volume you can comfortably chat over. I’ll be back!

We came across this bar and fell absolutely in love with it! It’s Sydney’s best hidden secret that needs to be shared. The food is delicious, the cocktails will take your tastebuds on an adventure and the service was just perfect. Staff are attentive as well as accommodating and nothing is too big an ask. If you’re looking for a date night spot or to hangout with your friends over some drinks, Bar 1880 is where you need to be!
