Looks nice and secluded but not a good swimming spot with kids and not much shade
Beautiful spot. Nature's Finest. Not a great dimming beach but I spotted an emu and plenty of other wildlife like wallabies and kangaroos in the area.
A breath taking sight, a dazzle to your eyes that what this place is all about. Since landing in Sydney I read a lot of things to do and places you should visit but to me all this are so commercialized that the aim in highlighting them is to make some quick bucks out of you. Then I saw someone wrote in the local website about a place infect is a fusion of three in one, a beach, hilly tops with ocean views and also be friendly with nature I mean close to nature with lots of Kangaroos, this piece of info really caught my eyes and the name of the place also sounds funny it's called Potato Point Beach located in NSW a good 3/4 hours drive from Canberra. While heading there I was really anxious to see and feel what was written that moves my heart. Man......... when I arrived I was sort of speechless and dumb-founded standing on such beauty. We arrived somewhere mid-noon and the weather was fantastic, blue skies and everything nice. The sky was crystal clear a real beauty to watch, we then proceeded to a nearby farm and there it was lots and lots of kangaroos hoping around gazing so close to civilization minding their own business. The greenery was full of flourishing radiant beauty to enjoy added with surrounding hilly forest landscape so untouched with plenty of trees atop, oh ya ... not to mention the air was so fresh. We then stumble upon what was the trip supposed be, the Potato point beach right before our very eyes, we were looking down from a cliff towards the bewitching beach and the delightful ocean view so soooo delightfully nice, the scenic view is beyond description, man you have to experience it for yourself then only you would know how to understand the feeling that I felt. If only time can stand still for a moment, I wouldn't mind staying up here for a little bit longer, nothing compare to this magnificent mother nature work of art. Highly recommended. Cheers!!!
