Moruya South Head Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Moruya Heads. You'll find BBQs nearby. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking before you visit.
Dogs are allowed off leash on the section from the car park north to the headland. From the car park south to the National Park boundary a timeshare arrangement applies: from 1 November to 30 April dogs are allowed on or off leash before 9am and after 5pm and are prohibited from 9am to 5pm; from 1 May to 31 October dogs are allowed on or off leash at all times.
Beautiful beach. Dog off leash area at North end with sand and rocks. Great for it not to be the typical middle section of a long sandy beach. Bbq, picnic tables and playground near surf club.
Lovely long, flat beach. Sand is very smooth. Amenities at Northern end, near Moruya Head include the Moruya Surf Life Saving Club, shop, BBQs, children's playground, and picnic area. Southern end is more remote. Also known as Main Beach, Dolphin Beach, and Pedro Point Beach. Saw eagles in the sky.
Unless your familiar with the Moruya Headland area, you may miss this hidden locals beach retreat. If you like the bush and and isolated beach's, you won't find any coffee latte shop hear. It's a beautiful little beach
