Fripp Oval is a dog-friendly park in Ballina. You'll find parking nearby.
This is a really large open plot of grass. Marked out at southern end for netball and balance of grass for soccer, rugby or NRL. Also has a almost brand new hockey field with clubhouse and ample parking and all around the edge of the ballina NRL club and home ground. Lots of room for lots of people to do lots of different things. Well working using people!
The grounds were soggy and there was a huge dog turd in the middle of the grounds where we were playing our AFL game!
The only reason I go to Fripp Oval is because U3A have their office and hold groups and classes in the building next to it. The oval itself looks well kept. U3A is a wonderful organisation for older citizens. It is staffed by volunteers and and provides opportunity for learning all sorts of subjects from Art History to Tai Chi and how to play the ukelele. We pay a reasonable yearly sub to cover insurance etc. It is a great way to make friends. I give U3A 5 stars!
Fripp Oval , is a large sporting field , with a spacious grassy park surrounding this field , which is mostly used as the home grounds for the Ballina Bombers Aussie Rules Team & the Ballina Bears Cricket Club
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
