Kicks Brewing is a brewery in Marrickville where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
My husband enjoyed all of the beers he had here. Wallflower, balmy nights, strength in numbers, mass appeal were all good. His favourite was Mass appeal. They have freshly cooked made to order pizza here. Easy to find parking. Brewery owner was very nice.
Cam and Job run a tight ship and are happy to discuss the ins and outs of their various brews (as well as the finer points of warming genshu sake if you’re so inclined). A number of happy customers and their furry friends or mini me’s also sailed through the venue on the Saturday we visited. Tasting paddles of four beers are an excellent entree into Kicks’ lineup for the novice. Of particular note for this punter were their rice lager, west coast IPA, and Baltic porter. There’s a beer fridge packed full of four packs of tinnies for those who wish to takeaway. In addition to the range of draft beers there is the option of buying a ‘tin pour’ from one of the refrigerated cans. And the pizza tent out front, run by the delightful husband and wife team of Saint Michiba’s Pizza churns out an impressive array of thin-crusted numbers featuring homemade chilli jams, razor-thin slices of tender chicken breast, juicy sausage, jalapeño and other gourmet ingredients. Unisex toilets are clean, and include a fully decked-out parents’ bathroom complete with nappy changing bay. A sophisticated joint, with middies served in classy thin-glass tumblers, Kicks is a venue to savour in the early afternoon before the hubbub of the family groups ups the decibels to nil-by-ear levels. In between the low-hanging flights of the A380s and the flight of Kicks tastings, one can achieve a kind of light industrial chic Marrickville nirvana. Five stars.
My favourite brewery in Marrickville for so many reasons. The beers are the best, for sure. No misses, great variety, a full fridge, and excellent value. The staff are exceptional: generous, funny, and brilliant guides. There are great food truck options (Jeery's is god-tier) and the space is friendly and comfortable. This is a place you want to return to. The epitome of the perfect neighbourhood brewery.
Cozy, friendly brewery in Marrickville! Love their beer:D Pizza I had from Pizzamaci was really good too.
This unassuming small batch brewery in Marrickville is consistently punching above their weight. I don’t know what it is, but the boys from Kicks regularly pump out outstanding batch after outstanding batch - whether it be Lager, Pils, Hazy, West Coast or Baltic Porters - they are all on point! Add to this, the food truck vendors they partner with are also consistently delivering the goods - to complement their refreshing wares. If you’re ever in the hood, be sure to do yourself a favour & drop into Kicks to sample their outstanding brews - AT YOUR LEISURE! 😊
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
