Enmore Park is a well-maintained, mostly grassed park with a mix of walking paths and open space. The paths loop through areas lined with trees, making it a good spot for a slower walk with plenty of sniffing opportunities.
There is an off-leash section where dogs can run, but it's not fenced and sits close to a busy road, so it's better suited to dogs with reliable recall. The rest of the park works well for on-leash walks and more relaxed picnics.
The designated area bound by Llewellyn Street and the two diagonal paths leading inward from that side of the park is off-leash at any time of the day. Dogs must be on a leash outside this area.
This is my local park, just about 100 meters from my home, and luckily, it's also dog-friendly! While it's not a magical wonderland, it's incredibly relaxing, and I find myself walking into it nearly every other day. Each visit feels unique because of the diverse animals and people I meet along the way, making every experience memorable.
Wonderful little park to people watch, or bird watch, it even to just admire all the dogs in the leash free area. Plenty of benches to sit and relax on, as well as a large indoor swimming pool that seems to get quite busy. Great place for the whole family, or just a solo afternoon hanging out and reading a book. Right across the street there is a great pub with wonderful food, if you get hungry!
Pleasant, green space. Well lit at night...partly by a massive swimming pool in the middle. At 22:30 you could walk around it comfortably and safe....a rarity where I'm from.
The park is nice with a great playground. There is an excellent cafe adjoins the swimming pool, then a nearby playground and a bother cafe across the road. There are undercover areas and BBQ facilities. The public restrooms aren’t great but about what you would expect. The swimming pool has great facilities, but of course you have to pay to get in. At the end of the park opposite to where the aquatic centre is there are more shops such as pubs and cafes.
Park was empty 😕 there's a Aquatic Centre in the park, it has a fenced playground and free BBQ facilities. I returned today and there were families having picnics
