Hidden little gem cafe inside an old warehouse building. First is pet friendly indoors. The staff were all nice and friendly. Order coffee with bring your own cup for small discount. Food is served warm, and when you taste it, you can see they have put some thoughts into it. Saw the pic of Croissant crumble, 🙂I had to order one to try.
It was a very delicious meal. The short-haired girl at the front desk was very friendly and the service attitude was very good. I asked her what she recommended. She enthusiastically introduced me to the food in the restaurant. What a pleasant dining experience.
across the summerhill area, Leichhardt, there is one coffe shop called the carpenter, the only mavam machine user so far that i know, alongside the machine mahlkonig e65, ek43 really does the job to deliver the goodness from their own roast coffee beans for espresso, batch brew and v60 dripper
It has great service and chill vibe, and the food is even better. Love the hotcakes and happy hour. Will definitely come back many more times.
The Carpenter is a small cafe that appears to be well visited by locals. We had the luxury of dining here for a weekday breakfast. I ordered The Carpenter Brekky ($20). The meal was filling and hearty. I opted for poached eggs and felt they were cooked perfectly! The hasbrowns were also cooked well- nice and crisp on the outside with a fluffy interior. They were well drained and not oily. I'm not usually a fan of cooked tomatoes, but the one I had was sweet and not soggy. All elements ate well together. I also had a large iced latte. I was impressed with the cost - $5.30. I feel that in general, the cafe is well priced. Service was good too. It was friendly, helpful, cheerful, and efficient.
