The Carpenter is a cafe in Leichhardt. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
Hidden little gem cafe inside an old warehouse building. First is pet friendly indoors. The staff were all nice and friendly. Order coffee with bring your own cup for small discount. Food is served warm, and when you taste it, you can see they have put some thoughts into it. Saw the pic of Croissant crumble, 🙂I had to order one to try.
Cool little spot. Slightly annoying - ordered the truffle eggs and asked for a side of mushrooms. They said they can’t do that because the “menu doesn’t cater for that”. No idea what that even means. Every brunch place allows you to order sides. Asked for an extra hot coffee which was lukewarm. Lastly, a 10% weekend surcharge which is ridiculous.
It was a very delicious meal. The short-haired girl at the front desk was very friendly and the service attitude was very good. I asked her what she recommended. She enthusiastically introduced me to the food in the restaurant. What a pleasant dining experience.
