I live near Cahill Park, and my puppy has been attacked there twice. The people who bring their dogs often seem unaware of their pets’ behavior, and my friendly, gentle puppy ended up getting hurt. We’ve had to visit the emergency vet twice now. I believe the off-leash dog park should enforce restrictions, allowing only dogs that are properly trained and well-behaved, so puppies like mine can play safely.

A new enclosed park made for people who want to walk their dogs. This is an off-the-leash dog park. Located opposite the sailing club know as Cooks On The River. There is parking on the street here - but it is hard to find a carpark close to this park. The international airport is located across the river. There are park benches here. Minimal shade. No toilets. Several bins. Woolworths grocery store and a liquor store are located 700 metres to the west. A cycleway wraps around the park.

Always plenty of life going on down at the park. There are nice walk/cycle paths, clean and updated toilets and BBQs and tables. Parking can be difficult so ride your bike, walk, paddle or get public transport. There are also lots of great places to eat day and night.

Clean, small, open pen style park. Convenient for small dogs that live in the nearby apartments. One drink fountain tap, a couple of bench seats, bike path lighting just outside would give soft ambient light in the evenings. Missing shelter for hot sunny or rainy days. No agility areas. Minimal shade in one corner. Loos @ nearby club. Brilliant compostable bins for dog poo, two safe entry/exit areas, lawn is neat & a few 'surprises' in the lawn left by uncaring dog parents - recommend gumboots if walking laps.

It's a amazing park to spend time or to do party. It's always remain busy at afternoon. It has a wonderful lake for which you can get a refreshing air and chill out there. Has cycling way towards the airport From where you can take shots of the plane very near to it.
