Great park for a morning stroll. There’s a large playground and cricket oval within the park. I saw one covered barbecue area during my visit (there could be more) - it was clean and close to the playground and toilets which are at the entrance, near the car park. Plenty of benches/places to sit scattered along the main pathway. Unfortunately the Cooks River which flows through the park is quite dirty!

Great park by the river front. Easy to reach as just walking distance from wolli creek station. The field has fencing which is a bonus to keep pets away. Running and walking track around the field as well as around the park. Playground is shaded and close to toilets. Very peaceful place, residents here seem decent as well mostly younger generations.

Cahill Park is legit one of my fav chill spots around Wolli Creek. Such a lovely green escape right by the Cooks River. It’s big, open, and perfect for whatever mood you’re in: picnic sesh, jog by the water, dog walk, or just lounging under the trees. There’s a dope playground that kids absolutely love, plenty of benches, and even walking/cycling paths if you’re keen to explore a little. It’s super accessible too, just a short stroll from Wolli Creek Station so it’s easy to pop by. Best part? It’s totally free and gives off serious laid-back vibes away from traffic and city buzz. Overall, it’s a rad mix of nature, community energy, and chill recreational space and it’s perfect for families, doggos, or anyone who just wants a nice outdoor hangout. Would definitely recommend checking it out

Cahill Park is such a great spot to spend time outdoors, whether you’re looking to be active or just relax. The park has a really nice open layout with plenty of grassy areas where you can simply sit back, stretch out, or enjoy a picnic. It’s also a popular place for a walk or a jog, and you’ll often see people running the paths or strolling with their dogs. For families, the children’s outdoor playground is a big highlight. It’s well-kept, fun, and gives the little ones plenty of space to burn off some energy. There’s also a cafe onsite, which makes it convenient if you want to grab a coffee, a snack, or just take a short break while enjoying the park views. Having lavatories available is another plus, since it makes the park practical for longer visits with kids or friends. Tennis fans will definitely appreciate the four courts available here. They’re a great feature, whether you’re a casual player or someone who likes to get in a proper game. You’ll often see people enjoying a match, which adds a nice lively vibe to the area. Overall, Cahill Park is one of those places that works for everyone whether you’re active, with kids, or just looking for a calm spot to unwind outdoors.

I love to see beautiful sunrise, sunset, the stars and the moon in the sky here. Many birds enjoy sunbath as well. Pelican is my favorite bird here 😊 Nice and quite place to meditate, walk, run and breathe for my inner peace. There are nice cafes around to get my coffee as well.
