On the ground floor of Rydges so conveniently located. The Koragee chicken was crisp, piping hot and was very tasty. I was staying in the hotel and the restaurant only offered a 2 or 3 course meal (annoying as I was only peckish and not hungry). The dipping sauce and small side of dry slaw was a good accompaniment. Service was speedy. I’m shocked based on my experience that the reviews are so terrible. The menu could include a few more grilled items eg grilled salmon as fried foods aren’t typically my preference.

To be honest we just flew home from Bali, staying the night at Ridges Sydney Airport, dropped into Smithy’s Bar, while trying to order and as questions the older lady ignored us talking to her younger worker, it was very dismissive when your paying for over priced meals and drinks, the customer service here was terrible, however not to take away from the young lady behind the bar she did try with a smile let down by the older lady concentrating on the till poor form, food fishermen basket 34 dollars absolutely disgusting, do yourself a favour and don’t eat here terrible for a hotel like Ridges

The location, opposite the T1 airport entrance, is convenient for travelers. ✈️ While the food offered is quite tasty 😋, the service quality leaves much to be desired.

I went to this Cafe near the accompanying motel, when departing for Japan in March. It was up to $60+ for one person, steak & chips with salad + side of sauce. Note to self, they will make it more expensive when paying with card than with cash or ordering from their website. I'd much rather order what I want in person than digitally, especially if there are people serving the counter top. The prices are expected for a place like Sydney, even at an airport. I left out on any drinks since they most supplied just alcohol and regular sodas. Comfort wise is moderate, not the best furnishings but food was satisfying and filling enough. The cafes aesthetic was nice in itself.

Save your money and go to Macca's at the airport. I get Smithy's is at the airport but it was absolutely revolting and for the price you expect something edible.Ordered two burgers and two drinks that came to around $90. First burger came, cold, old dry fries, burned bun. Other burger didn't arrive at all so after 20 minutes went to find staff to check where it was. They'd completely forgotten. Eventually received veg burger - microwaved to death and I burned my mouth on it. No cheese, one piece of pickle, tomato falling out of it. Staff just seemed stressed.
