Gosh this pub does it well… quiet dinner while on work shift out in the courtyard, food just what you expect at the pub with wine chosen (tempranillo rose) a perfect match. I’m lingering over dessert! (And I just heard a bunch of young diners, dog in tow having doggo meal, say this could be their fave pub in the world…)

Easily our favourite pub in Sydney — and not just because they serve a Sunday roast that could bring a tear to your eye. Perfectly cooked, generously portioned, and just the right kind of food coma for a Sunday afternoon. But the real VIP here is our pup Ralph, who struts in like he owns the joint. He devours the puppy dinner like he hasn’t eaten in weeks (he has), and the dog beer? Let’s just say we’re glad he can’t drive home. The staff are legends — friendly, fast, and always up for a chat or a pat (for Ralph, not me… although I wouldn’t say no). Great food, great vibes, and a place where both humans and hounds are treated like royalty. 10/10 would roast again.

Had a small birthday celebration here a week ago. Ordered 5 platters from the functions menu. The food was great, fresh , well presented and large amounts, for a reasonable price. The service was exceptional and the vibe in the pub itself is lovely. Highly recommended.

We held our work Christmas party here and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. At $40 per head, ordering from the functions menu was an absolute treat. The food was great quality and there was more than enough to comfortably cater for our group of 35. Communication in the lead-up was excellent as well — emails were answered quickly and everything was easy to organise. We’d happily recommend this venue for a function and would definitely return.

Had an early dinner here with my family and my wife and I were very pleased with our choices. Ingredients and execution of our meals was excellent. Our daughters meal however, was sub standard with poor quality beef that was in edible. This was taken care of by the friendly staff. Possibly difficult to spot by the kitchen?? One other point, the menu was a little limited but as I said, the barramundi was excellent and the veggie option too. Would return..
